“Silhouette 95” used by Arantxa Sánchez-Vicario to win the last Virginia Slims of Newport event

This racquet was owned and used by Arantxa Sánchez-Vicario to win her first tournament on grass, the last Virginia Slims of Newport.

Oversized graphite composition tennis racquet with clear gut strings painted with a black Slazenger logo. The frame is dark gray with purple and green accents, has a large oval head, and an open throat. There are small pieces of lead tape inside the head on the top and sides. There is a groove around the outside of the head and a string strip. The frame varies in width with the sides of the head thicker in spots. The top of the head has an added protection strip. The grip is covered with light blue Babolat grip tape.
